Dr. Jas Sidhu

Dr. Sidhu moved to Victoria from the mainland after graduating from Florida’s Nova Southeastern University, College of Dental Medicine in 2007. Dr. Sidhu started working at Westshore Family as an associate and is now the proud owner. He loves all aspects of dentistry, right from working with children to the most difficult of surgical extractions and root canals. Dr. Sidhu is a beloved Canuck’s fan and never misses a game. His pastimes are the gym, cycling, and swimming.

Dr. Lien Neale

Dr. Neale moved to Victoria from Alberta 3 years ago to enjoy our beautiful weather here on the west coast. She graduated from University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1992. After running a very successful private practice for over 15 years in Alberta, she joined the Westshore family in January 2014.

Dr. Neale is a member of the BC Dental Association, as well as the Victoria District Dental Association. She continues to update her dental training by attending continuing education courses regularly. Dr. Neale’s practice philosophy is to provide gentle and complete dental care to her patients. She is married, with 4 active teenagers. Dr. Neale’s favourite hobby is to watch her children play volleyball, hockey, and soccer throughout the year.

Dr. Mandy McIntosh


Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Dr. Mandy McIntosh holds a B.Sc. Honours from the University of Toronto (1986), Faculty of Dentistry (1991), as well as a post degree in periodontics from U of T (1996).

A distinguished student, Dr. McIntosh received several undergraduate and graduate scholarships and awards, including the Mary Ellen Carty scholarship, the American Academy of Periodontology Award, the Oral Diagnosis Award, and the Oral Pathology Award.

In her fourth year of study, Dr. McIntosh provided dental services to Moose Factory, ON, an experience which informed her research. Upon her graduation, Dr. McIntosh worked in Kirkland Lake, ON and later moved on to provide periodontal services to patients in a number of practices.

In 2002, Dr. McIntosh with Robert S. Turnbull M.Sc. and David Locker Ph.D., co-authored an article in the Journal of Public Health Dentistry entitled "Risk Indicators for Periodontal Disease in a Remote Canadian Community – a Dental Practice – Based Study.”

She lives in Oakville, ON with her husband and two children. We are thrilled to have her at Westshore Dental for one week a month.

Dr. Melinda Mo

Dr. Melinda Mo graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2004.

Dr. Melinda Mo has a passion for orthodontics and focuses all of her time in this area of dentistry. In 2014, Dr. Mo achieved fellowship of the International Association for Orthodontics by completing 300 hours of continuing education in orthodontics and submitting cases for examination to the headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Mo completed the 2010 IAO instructors institute in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which was an additional 50 hours of education, and she is currently a senior master instructor for the IAO.

In addition to orthodontics, Dr. Melinda Mo is qualified to provide Conscious Sedation in Alberta and British Columbia.

Dr. Melinda Mo practises orthodontics in the Edmonton, AB office once a month, and twice a week in the Victoria, BC office.

Dr. Melinda’s hobbies include spending time with her three young kids, basketball, and fishing.

Dr. Brin MacMillan

Dr. Brin MacMillan was born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Victoria. Following his undergraduate, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the school of Detroit Mercy. During his years at school, Brin provided dental care in Detroit, as well as in underserved communities of Michigan. He was rewarded for excellence in the field of removable prosthodontics by the school of Detroit Mercy and received the outstanding implant dentistry award by the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. MacMillan enjoys all aspects of general dentistry.

Brin comes from a family with history in the medical field. He feels blessed to continue his lineage and be in a profession that can help impact patients’ lives in a positive way. He feels that building good patient relationships is a key to success and looks forward to putting this into practice. Outside of work, his interests include soccer, jogging, and golf.

Dr. Sabrina Ma
Dr. Sabrina Ma was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Windsor. Following her undergraduate studies, she pursued her love and passion for dentistry and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. This was completed in her neighbouring border city, Detroit, at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She has been awarded for her academic excellence in both her undergraduate and dentistry degrees, such as honors with distinction and a position on the Dean’s list. During her residence in Detroit, she was able to provide services of all aspects of general dentistry.

Dr. Ma now resides in Victoria, BC, to enjoy the island life. She has a great appreciation for the outdoors and staying active. Her favourite activities include swimming, hiking, and going to the gym.

CDA/Office Manager

Dawn started her career in Manitoba in 1974. Working for almost 17 years as a dental assistant, she then took a move to work at the front desk. Working as receptionist/manager for the next 13 years, she always maintained at least one day a week assisting for a general dentist as well as an endodontist. Dawn joined Westshore Dental Centre in 2005 and hasn’t looked back. Dawn and her husband Norrie have three daughters and just recently had the addition of their first grandchild. In their spare time they are either with their grandson Asher or their two golden doodles JayDee and Miley.
